UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSIONS FOR 2011/2012 SESSION

Limited vacancies exist in all the Programmes for suitably qualified Candidates, including those who have not chosen the University in the UTME/ Direct Entry and wish to attend Bells University of Technology, as well as candidates, who have chosen the Institution as First or Second Choice.

COMPULSORY POST-UTME SCREENING
The Compulsory Screening Exercise will hold as follows:

Dates:         Wednesday, 26 October, 2011

Time:           10.00 a.m.

Venues:       OTA CAMPUS CENTRE ONLY

Candidates are expected to bring along the acknowledgement slip for the submission of the form, two Referee’s reports (under confidential cover), original and photocopies of O’ level / A’ level results, UTME results and Birth Certificates with two passport photographs.

METHOD OF OBTAINING APPLICATION FORMS

The Post-UTME Screening is at no cost to Candidates. However, Administrative Charges of five thousand five hundred naira (N5, 500.00) only should be paid at any branch of Zenith Bank PLC (Account No. 6110604663). Download the form at admission/applicationform.doc complete it and submit on the day of Screening at the Centre with evidence of payment.

Application forms will also be available for sale on the day of screening at the Screening Centres.

ACCEPTANCE OF PROVISIONAL ADMISSIONS

Successful candidates from the previous Screening Exercises should collect their Provisional Admission Letters from the University. Such candidates are required to pay a non – refundable Acceptance Fee of One hundred thousand naira (N100, 000.00) only at:

Payment could also be made at the University Bursary. The Acceptance Fee shall be part of the School Fees on resumption.

CLEARANCE AND REGISTRATION

Clearance and registration for candidates has commenced from Monday, 1st August, 2011. The following documents are to be presented for Clearance:

1. Evidence of payment of Acceptance Fee

2. Original and 4 photocopies of J.A.M.B. Notification of Result;

3. Original and 4 photocopies of SSCE / GCE / NECO Certificate or Statement of Result;

4. Original and 4 photocopies of Birth Certificate/Sworn Declaration of Age;

5. 6 recent passport size photographs – showing frontal face views.

6. Two (2) Referees’ Reports (under confidential cover), one of which must be from the former School Principal, attesting to character and the other from a reputable person.

Note: The Referees' Reports must be on letter-head paper.

Please note that only duly cleared Candidates should proceed to make further payments, as any unathorised payment shall be forfeited.

RESUMPTION FOR 2011/2012

New Students

The 2011/2012 Academic Session shall commence on Saturday, 17th September, 2011.

Returning Students

Returning Students are expected back in the Halls of Residence on Saturday, 24th September, 2011. Kindly bring along your tuition or evidence of payment of school fees.
