The Bells Journal of Built Environment (BJBE) is a peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to advancing knowledge, research, and innovation in the built environment. Published by the College of Environmental Sciences, Bells University of Technology, the journal serves as a platform for scholars, professionals, and policymakers to engage with emerging issues in architecture, urban and regional planning, estate management, building technology, quantity surveying, environmental design, and sustainable development.
BJBE seeks to bridge the gap between theory and practice in addressing challenges and solutions that shape the physical, social, economic, and ecological aspects of our built environment.
The journal aims to:
– Promote cutting-edge research in the disciplines related to the built environment.
– Foster interdisciplinary dialogue between scholars and professionals.
– Provide empirical, theoretical, and practice-based insights into urbanization, housing, infrastructure, climate resilience, and spatial planning.

BJBE maintains high standards of academic integrity and quality. All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer-review process. We welcome original research articles, review papers, case studies, technical notes, and book reviews that contribute meaningfully to the field.
Manuscripts should be:
– Written in clear, concise English (British spelling preferred)
– Submitted in MS Word format
– Accompanied by an abstract (150–250 words) and 4–6 keywords
– Properly referenced using APA 7th edition style
