Dean, College of Engineering
Prof. Olamide O, Olusanya is a Professor of Computer Engineering with a research focus on systems modelling and simulation for decision making. She currently serves as Dean of the College of Engineering at Bells University of Technology, Ota, where She has been a full-time faculty member for over 14 years. Her academic career at Bells has progressed through Lecturer II, Lecturer I, Senior Lecturer, Head of Department (Electrical/Electronics and Computer Engineering), and Deputy Dean, roles through which She has been directly involved in curriculum development, academic governance, accreditation processes, and the day-to-day running of a multidisciplinary engineering college. Prof. Olusanya graduated with a B. Tech in Computer Engineering from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Oyo State in October 2008 and had her Masters of Science in Computer Science of the University of Lagos in 2011. Also, She bagged her Ph.D in the Computer Science and Engineering Department of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso in 2017. Her teaching and research work centres on using formal models and simulation techniques to analyse complex technical and socio-technical systems, particularly where decisions have measurable operational or policy consequences. Her role as Dean focuses on academic quality control, staff development, and aligning engineering education with measurable national and industrial needs rather than abstract positioning. She is a registered member of COREN, Nigerian Society of Engineers and also a certified Cisco Network Administrator. Furthermore, She has acquired some professional trainings in Network administration and Radio frequency planning and optimization aspects of Telecommunications. She has also gained reasonable work experiences in these aforementioned areas.

Our Philosophy:
The philosophy of the College is to combine theories and practices of science and technology to produce graduates who will be empowered to design, produce and bring functional products into reality so as to meet the desired needs of their immediate environment and the world in general. The college aims to achieve this by exploiting the state-of-the-art facilities existing in the University’s laboratories along with a collaborative interaction with the large number of industries partnering ang existing around the University.
