Message from the Dean:

Thank you for visiting the page of the College of Management Sciences. It is indeed a great pleasure for me to warmly welcome you to this college. The college is for you and those of us in the college consider ourselves very much dedicated to helping you find your bearing in the course, processes and degrees we offer.

Most things youths and adults do in today’s world hover around management. Your studies at present are avenues of getting you to the careers and vocations you desire for your future. This College helps you to select and pursue courses leading to professional degrees in Business Administration, Management Technology, Economics, Accounting and Finance.

There is great emphasis placed on nurturing the interests and skills of our students in entrepreneurial studies.  Our products are positioned to fund comfortable zones in formal private and public organizations. They are also equipped to create their own businesses as employers able to employ others.

These departments are unified by one specific goal of dishing the students’ world class managerial skills that makes these students stand out wherever they find themselves.

O’ Level Requirements Direct Entry
Economics Five (5) O’ Level Credits at one or two sittings which must include English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other two social science subjects. Two A’ Level passes in Economics and any of Accounting, Commerce, Geography, Government or Mathematics.

ND/HND with minimum of Upper Credit from recognized Institution in relevant courses: Accounting, Banking and Finance, Business Administration, Marketing, Insurance, Actuarial Science, Management and Statistics are eligible.

English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other social science subject.
Accounting;  Finance and Banking Five (5) O’ Level Credits at one or two sittings which must include English Language, Mathematics, Economics/Commerce and any other two social science subjects. Two A’ Level passes one of which must include Economics, Accounting or Commerce, and any of Mathematics, Geography or Government.

ND with minimum of Upper Credit from recognized Institution in relevant courses: Accounting, Banking and Finance, Business Administration, Marketing, Insurance, Actuarial Science, Management and Statistics are eligible.

English Language, Mathematics and two other social science subjects.
Library and Information Science Five (5) O’ Level Credits at one sitting which must include English Language, Mathematics and three other science, art or social science subjects. Or Six (6) O’ Level Credits at two sittings which must include English Language, Mathematics and four other science, art or social science subjects. Two A’ Level passes in science, art or social science subjects including Mathematics.

ND in Library Science or related discipline with at least an Upper Credit from a recognized University or Polytechnic.

NCE with at least credit in Mathematics and any other science, art or social science subject.

English Language, Mathematics and two other science, art or social science subjects.
Business Administration; Marketing Five (5) O’ Level Credits at one or two sittings which must include English Language, Mathematics and any other three of the following: Economics, Commerce, Business Studies, Financial Accounting, Marketing or any other social science or science subject. Two A’ Level passes in any of Mathematics, Economics, Geography, Accounting, Business Studies and Government.

ND with minimum of Lower Credit in a related field from recognized Institution.

English Language, Mathematics, Economics/Commerce and any other social science subject.
Human Resource Management Five (5) O’ Level Credits at one or two sittings which must include English Language, Mathematics and any other three from the following: Economics, Commerce, Civic Education (Citizenship and Heritage Studies), Government, Marketing, Financial Accounting and Geography. Two A’ Level passes in any two of Mathematics, Economics, Geography, Accounting, Business Studies and Government.

ND with minimum of Lower Credit in a related field from recognized Institution.

English Language, Mathematics, Economics/Commerce and any other social science subject.
Project Management Five (5) O’ Level Credits at one or two sittings which must include English Language, Mathematics and any other three subjects from Economics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science, Geography, Tourism, Civic Education, Business Methods, Commerce, Accounting, Book Keeping, Government and Home Economics. Two A’ Level passes in any two of Mathematics, Economics, Geography, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Studies, Financial Accounting, Commerce, Business Methods, Statistics, Government and Book Keeping.

ND/HND with minimum of Lower Credit in a related field from recognized Institution.

English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other science or social science subjects.
Transport Management Five (5) O’ Level Credits at one or two sittings which must include English Language, Mathematics, Geography/Economics and two other social science or science subjects. Two A’ Level passes in any two of Mathematics, Economics, Geography, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Studies, Financial Accounting, Commerce, Business Methods and Statistics.
