Bells University of Technology Hosts Elegushi of Egusi Land

Bells University of Technology, Ota, played the role of a royal host as the Elegushi of Egushi Land, Ota Awori Kingdom, Oba Maroof Alagbe and his Council of Chiefs paid a courtesy visit to the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Jeremiah O. Ojediran, RE (COREN) MNSE, on Friday, 14 August, 2020.

Egushi Land is the blessed land that hosts two world renowned Universities; Bells University of Technology, Ota and Covenant University, Ota, as well as the Nigerian Building and Road Research Institute (NBRRI). The Visit was to further strengthen the mutually beneficial relationship that has existed between the University and its Host Community

The Vice-Chancellor pledged the University’s resolve to work with the Elegushi – in – Council on projects that will engender rapid development of the town. The Elegushi also appreciated the Management of the University, led by the Vice-Chancellor for being proactive and responsive to the needs and aspirations of the Host Community, while requesting for more to be done especially in the area of scholarships for indigent students of the Community.
