BELLS UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY WINS BIG AT THE OGUN STATE NCS SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT COMPETITION

Bells University of Technology Computer Science and Information Technology Students have made the University proud again as they won the first position at the 13th Software Development Competition hosted by the Ogun State Chapter of the Nigeria Computer Society (NCS).

The competition was held at The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta on 23rd and 24th of January, 2024.

Bells University of Technology presented three teams for the three different categories and came first in the Presentation/Debate Category.

Another team from Bells University of Technology came second in the Quiz competition (after scoring 81 out of a total of 100). The third team from BellsTech also came first in the Software Development Category.

The overall best prize was won by Bells University of Technology, Ota.

About ten tertiary institutions from Ogun and Lagos States participated in all categories and Bells University carried the day by taking the overall prize.

The BellsTech teams for each category of the competition are:

Kelvin Omoh Enaikele & Samson Udoh – Quiz

Second Prize

Akeju Oluwanifemi, Kelvin Omoh Enaikele & Jamil Amasa – Software Development – First Prize              

Dr. Michael Tokunbo Adenibuyan, the Lecturer/Coach for the BellsTech Team led them to the competition where they wrote the name of the University in gold.
