Candidates for admission into the Higher Degree and Diploma programmes shall normally be graduates of Bells University of Technology, Ota, or any other institutions recognized by the Senate of Bells University of Technology, Ota. Such candidates must, in addition to possessing the basic O’level matriculation requirements of the University, satisfy the general regulations governing postgraduate studies. Admission shall be made by the Postgraduate School on the recommendations by appropriate Departmental and College Postgraduate Committees.
Admission Requirements
In addition to the minimum O’ level matriculation requirements, first degree holders of Bells University of Technology, Ota, or any other University recognized by Senate, with a minimum of Third-Class degree in relevant disciplines shall be eligible for admission into the Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) programmes of the University. Holders of Higher National Diploma (HND) in relevant programmes from approved institutions with a minimum of Upper Credit maybe considered for admission. However, in some programmes a lower credit in HND with adequate years post-qualification relevant experience may also be considered.
Duration:
Postgraduate Diploma programmes will run for a minimum of two (2) semesters and maximum of four (4) semesters.

PGD Electrical/Electronics and Computer Engineering
Admission Requirements: Five (5) Credit passes at not more than two sittings including English Language and Mathematics.
Candidates with a Bachelor degree from Bells University of Technology, or any other approved University, with a minimum of Third-Class degree in relevant discipline.
Holders of HND in relevant programmes from approved Institutions with a minimum of Upper Credit may also be considered for admission.
PGD Mechanical Engineering
Admission Requirements: Five (5) Credit passes at not more than two sittings including English Language and Mathematics.
Candidates with a Bachelor degree from Bells University of Technology, or any other approved University, with a minimum of Third-Class degree in relevant discipline. Holders of HND in relevant programmes or equivalents from approved Institutions with a minimum of Upper Credit may also be considered for admission.

Holders of HND in relevant programmes from approved institutions with a minimum of Upper Credit may also be considered for admission.
PGD Computer Science

Candidates with a Bachelor degree from Bells University of Technology, or any other approved University, with a minimum of Third Class degree in relevant discipline. Holders of HND in relevant programmes from approved institutions with a minimum of Upper Credit may also be considered for admission.
PGD Food Science and Technology
Admission Requirements:Five (5) Credit passes at not more than two sittings including English Language and Mathematics.
Candidates with a Bachelor degree from Bells University of Technology, or any other approved University, with a minimum of Third Class degree in relevant discipline. Holders of HND in relevant programmes from approved institutions with a minimum of Lower Credit may also be considered for admission.
PGD Applied Physics/PGD Mathematics/PGD Statistics
Admission Requirements:Five (5) Credit passes at not more than two sittings including English Language and Mathematics.
Candidates with a Bachelor degree from Bells University of Technology, or any other approved University, with a minimum of Third Class degree in relevant discipline. Holders of HND in relevant programmes from approved institutions with a minimum of Upper Credit may also be considered for admission.
