Following a keenly contested round of voting at the 91st Statutory Senate meeting held on Monday, 24 July, 2023, the Management of Bells University of Technology, Ota, has appointed Professor Akunnaya Pearl Opoko, Dean College of Environmental Sciences, as the new Deputy Vice-Chancellor of this great institution. The appointment takes effect from 12th of August, 2023 till 31st July, 2025
Prof Opoko served the University diligently as the Dean of the College of Environmental Sciences, and will now be taking over from the current Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Professor Francis Cheo, who served as the University’s 4th Deputy Vice-Chancellor for the past two years, the statutory duration of the office.
