PROTOCOLS FOR 200- 500 LEVEL STUDENTS RESUMPTION FOR FIRST SEMESTER

2023/2024 ACADEMIC SESSION ON SUNDAY, 15TH OCTOBER, 2023

AT THE UNIVERSITY’S MAIN GATE:

  • All parents and students entering the University on resumption day are expected to come through the main gate along Idiroko road.
  • All vehicles entering the University are mandated to undergo security checks.
  • Clearance for admission into the halls of residence will be issued on college basis as follows:
    • COLENG – Lecture Theatre 1
    • COLNAS and COLMANS -ELT
    • COLENVS and COLFAST – Adenuga Building (Ground Floor)

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

  • All students from 200 to 500 level are expected to resume on Sunday, 15th October, 2023.
  • Students are expected to arrive between the hours of 7:00am. and 8:00pm.
  • All students are expected to have paid a minimum of 25% of the fees.
  • Bursary Unit will have a desk at each venue to confirm payment.
  • Course registration form should be sighted and submitted to departmental officers.
  • Students are to present hardcopy of evidence of payment at the Bursary clearance point; course registration and room allocation for authentication at the reception points.
  • All Students are expected to dress decently; indecent dressing will not be tolerated.
  • All female students should have their hair at mid back length and of their natural hair color (odd colors or tinted colors are not allowed).
  • All male students are to cut their hair neatly and low, beards are to be clean shaved

AT THE HALL OF RESIDENCE:

Wardens and other hall officials will coordinate all normal halls of residence admission procedures which include:

  • Collection of evidence of school fees payment;
  • Registration/ documentation;
  • Collection of hall identification card;
  • Collection of keys by the occupants.
  • Room inspection by the porter and occupants;
  • Students are to present their clearance at the reception in the halls of residence before being allowed in.
